There is no necessity to purchase a larger Kilowatt unit for plumbing it up to a distance of 50 ft from the shower. Water contains dissolved minerals such as calcium magnesium etc., and with time these are deposited in the form of scales once the water is evaporated or heated.  For removing the scales and other such depositions, the Generator has Manual PowerFlush system which keeps it free from scales and enhances the life of the unit.
